2015 Subaru BMX National Championships Brisbane

This was the 9th Round of the National Series and a double points round. The weather was horrible with pouring rain and racing at night made conditions very difficult. I knew I had to go out and go hard to secure a fast time. I managed the fastest time in Moto 1 which worked out to be the winning time as the event was cancelled for the safety of all riders. This result secured me in second place overall in the National Series for 2015. Coming second also had me selected in the Australian Senior Test Team for the second year running.

Making her proud! Jason Dundas kisses mum Diane before pair take part in the Mother's Day Classic charity run

The annual Mother's Day Classic took place with 104 events around the country on Sunday.
And among the estimated 120,000 competitors taking part in the fun run, David Jones ambassador Jason Dundas got ready to race in the Sydney event.
Before taking his place at the starting line, the 32-year-old stood proud alongside his mother, Diane, who was also taking part in the event.

The hunky model made fans swoon when he placed a loving kiss on Diane's cheek.
For his run, the fitness enthusiast and sportswear designer donned his own Dundasfit range.

2015 NSW State Series

To qualify for the NSW State Titles this year I had to race a Metro and Country round of the NSW State Series.
As this track was my mates Paige's home track and one of my favourites, I went along to have some fun and raced up in hte 16 Girls Class.
The track has had some major changes recently and it was hard getting the new third straight smooth. I had a pretty good day winning all my motos and trying to work out the quickest way around the track every lap, not always getting it right.

Mick Spencer, almost 25, is expecting to double his multi-million dollar business he started six years ago.

2015 ACT State Titles

Another weekend - another event!
This weekend was ACT titles held at my home track, Tuggeranong BMX.
Over two days of racing there was lots to get done.
Saturday I was racing idol and mentor CB68 in 14+ pro woman. I got a bit tangled up with the big girls but pulled through with 4th in the final.
Sunday was busy racing in two classes, A pro woman and 15-16 girls. Unfortunately there wasn't enough girls so we got bumped up to race with the age above.
I didn't drop a race all day and won my age group for the sixth year running.

Perth Race Report

Well that’s another two rounds of the National Series done and dusted!
We travelled to Perth for these rounds and got to ride one of my favourite tracks, Westside.
Day one round 5, I qualified third to the main event sue to timing issues in the third moto.
I had lane 3 for my final with tough competition on either side of me, I needed a fast gate and to get across.
I was able to pull away with the holeshot and I held my lines around the track and came away with the win.

Paul Zahra on leading David Jones through the ‘perfect storm’

It has taken several months to coax Paul Zahra into having lunch. Our long-awaited catch-up was preceded by dozens of Twitter messages, emails, phone calls and a coffee meeting. But the former David Jones chief executive has good reasons for wanting to stay out of the limelight after a four-year roller-coaster ride running one of the country’s most iconic companies.
