Buchanan Next Gen

With a great lead up to Rounds 3 & 4 of the BMXA National Series, I was feeling confident to put together some fast laps. The weather was hot all weekend with temps reaching 40 degrees.
Day 1 saw a small gate of 5 girls competing. I battled all day with current World #3 Shelby Green, who eventually won the round with me in a close second.
Day 2 I was determined to take a win and once again the battle was on with Shelby and the other girls. After some determined riding I finished with a win for the Round, placing me in a comfortable second in the Series behind Shelby.

Yamba triathlete Lindsey Wall wins Hell of the West

YAMBA triathlete Lindsey Wall won the Hell of the West at Goondiwindi, one of Australia's toughest races, in a dramatic finish against rival Sam Betten.
Wall came second to Betten last year in the same race, made up of a 2km swim, 80km ride and 20km run. Just like last year, the two competitors were head-to-head until the last few kilometres.
Last year Betten waited until the final 2km before sprinting to victory. However, it was Wall's final surge at 5km this year that clinched the victory for him.

Here's a little teaser of the article, grab a copy of Men's Fitness to read the entire piece.

"it's like the feeling of adrenalin; like you've done something wrong; like a butterfly on steriods is fluttering around your chest," Spencer says of the arrhythmia that has dogged him since he was 13.
