2014 ACT Exporter of the Year Awards

2014 ACT Exporter of the Year Awards

OnTheGo has been shortlisted as a Finalist for the 2014 ACT Exporters' Network Chief Ministers Exporter of the Year Awards! What an honour to be sitting next to some pretty incredible companies, and we're looking forward to next month when the winner will be revealed!

It is my great privilege to be the Chief Minister of the ACT as we look forward to our much anticipated 2014 ACT Chief Minister's Export awards celebrations.

The ACT Chief Minister's Export Awards identifies and celebrates innovators in our exporting community and highlights their achievements in showcasing the ACT to the world. The ACT has a dynamic and successful exporting community drawing from our strong Education, ICT, Government Services,  Defence and Security, Sports and Creative industry sectors.

The Export Awards program identifies outstanding ACT role models who energetically tell Canberra's story to the world in ways that governments and brochures simply can't. Many past category winners are well known – organisations such as Seeing Machines,  Windlab, Lithicon, Data Pod, Australian Scientific Instruments,  Bearcage, Inland Trading, GP Sports, eWay and of course the 2013 ACT Exporter of the Year, and national winner of the Health and Biotechnology Award, Aspen Medical.

Each year new category winners emerge – IE Asia Pacific, QuintessenceLabs, Northrop Consulting Engineers and the Royal Australian Mint. Exports are enormously important to our economy - they drive the creation of wealth, they advance innovation through the exchange of ideas, and they integrate Canberra into the global trade dynamic that will shape our future. These Awards are open to all ACT and region exporters and I strongly encourage you to join our export celebrations and enter and use the process both as an opportunity to do a health check on your business and to capitalise on the profile the Awards offers to entrants.
