Aussie actor and model Jason Dundas is leaping into fitness fashion with his new label
HIS new clothing line means men can dress just like him but emulating Jason Dundas’ sixpack may take more work.
The David Jones ambassador and TV presenter has launched a fashionable fitness wear range for men, called DundasFit, which he hopes will encourage men to become more active. “Ultimately we want to inspire people to make being healthy cool,” he said.
US-based Dundas, who works out six days a week and eats a strict low-sugar and low-carbohydrate diet, said the brand started with fans wanting to know the secrets to his rock-hard body.
“A couple of years ago I was training really hard for one of the David Jones summer shows and a lot of people were asking me about what I eat and how I work out to look a certain way,” he said.
“So I started a hashtag, DundasFit ... this online community where everyone could share tips and be inspired to be healthy, and it dawned on me that I had this platform where I could inspire people.”
The range of T-shirts, singlets, shorts and compression tights will be exclusively available from this month at 24 David Jones stores and online.
Dundas will return to Sydney to join fellow DJs ambassadors Jessica Gomes and Montana Cox on Wednesday on the runway for the store’s summer 2015 collection.
